This special trip allows you to connect with the many faces of this friendly country. You travel through the beautiful mountain landscape with rice paddies and snowy mountain peaks, along raging rivers and pretty villages. Of course there is some hiking with beautiful views of the Himalayan massif. You can admire the beautiful architecture of the royal cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, or relax on the blue-green mountain lake of Pokhara. By jeep, foot, in a dugout canoe or on the back of an elephant you can safari in remote jungle to find the Indian rhinoceros.
  • • Medieval Bhaktapur In medieval Bhaktapur time stands still. You can enjoy beautiful wooden temples and tasty 'dal bhat' in the middle of the car-free city. «
  • • Pashupatinath The sacred Pashupatinath on the Bagmati River is the best place for cremations. There are always sadhu's present, half-naked mendicants with wild hairstyles. «
  • • Exhilarating rafting A ride on a rubber raft on a wild river in the mountains, is a breathtaking experience. «
  • • Kathmandu The living goddess Kumari lives at the Durbar Square. The young girl is one of the Hindu phenomena, besides the numerous processions and festivals «
  • • Enchanting Pokhara Pokhara is the adventure capital where you can hike, go swimming and rowing. The views of the snow capped Himalayas are magnificent. «
  • • Wild Chitwan On the back of an elephant, by jeep, on foot or in a dugout canoe, you can look for tigers, monkeys, crocodiles and rhinos in the Chitwan National Park. «
